Advent is a small congregation -- a member of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) -- dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who enter our building or who are touched by our outreach efforts. We strive to be a welcoming, caring and serving community. We believe that all people are made equally in the image of God, and that in each person we welcome, we welcome Christ. As partners with other congregations in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we share the beliefs that are explained on the ELCA web site. |
