Whether packing sandwiches for the homeless, collecting cereal or doing fundraising activities for AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center), participating in the CROP walk, Relay for Life, or caring for the labyrinth garden, the Advent Community is actively involved.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COMMUNITY
Volunteers needed! Capital Caring, Alrington’s community-based, nonprofit hospice for 35 years, is in great need of volunteers to sit with patients in their homes. Weekdays between 9 am to 5 pm are especially needed. The average visit is 2 hours. It is enormously rewarding work.
