Seven decades ago in 1951, a group of Christians began worshipping as a congregation

Ministry RecognizedPastor Anna accepts the James B. Hunter Award from Arlington County Human Rights Commissioners Shawn Pierce, left, and Kiley Tibbetts. Commissioner Pierce nominated Advent for its work in human rights and diversity, especially the campaign to help our new Afghan neighbors.

70 yearsThe celebration included a meet & greet before worship, writing memory cards for the Christmas tree, a Labyrinth walk, and concluded with a luncheon enjoyed by all.
