March 09: Exodus 3. God calls Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Although Moses himself is an Israelite, he is not, indeed was not a slave in Egypt. He had lived a privileged life and was now living with Jethro, the priest of Midian. God is calling Moses to “get involved,” to reach out beyond himself and his own personal needs and position. Is this also the call to us?
